Michigan Design Center has been serving designers, architects, builders, and consumers throughout the region since 1977. Created for Henry Ford Hospital by the Nordin Brothers in 2016, the tree of strength stands as a symbol of hope and love for patients and families.

Selected by Coach Jim Harbaugh to stand as the Most Valuable Player symbol for Michigan Football it lives in Schembechler Hall in Ann Arbor, MI. Todebush, while pointing out many top name brands, emphasized the level of service at the MDC in conjunction with the number of options available.

International Women’s Day @ MDC – Hosted by Ruth Casper Design Studio

Commissioned by the City of Harrison Township, this 20 ft tall sculpture is made of stainless and carbon steel. Migration symbolizes the wildlife and nature throughout the community. Named the Bo Schembechler MVP award - every element is handmade from carbon steel, stainless, blown glass and leather, the sculpture is 9 feet tall. The sword and shovel symbolize going to work and protecting the home.

Each recipient has their name added to the sculpture and receives a miniature version of the sculpture. Made possible by our friends at Carhartt who are supporting the artist and maker community in a wealth of ways. Symbolizing the growth of the three Nordin Brothers, this sculpture is 20 ft tall and is made of steel and glass.

Commissioned by the Satetsky Law Firm in Birmingham Michigan, Destination featured are 3 ft diameter cast glass centerpiece, the sculpture is stainless steel and is 16 ft tall. Commissioned by Hatch and Strategic Staffin Solutions in Detroit, this sculpture is made of steel and glass and stands 20 ft tall. Standing in the middle of Michigan Avenue near the historic train depot, it was dedicated by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. The sculpture symbolizes one generation of Detroiters handing the torch to the next. It symbolizes Detroit’s historic architectural and pays tribute in the columns of the base to the Armed Forces.

Placed in Campus Martius each year to celebrate Hanukkah, the 25 ft Menorah attracts thousands of people each year. Commissioned by the Windsor Bridge Authority and Frog, this 20 ft sculpture was created from original components of the Fort Street Bridge in Detroit. Additionally, a live demonstration will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Kader Boly of CAI Designs will perform a live art demonstration and interview in Suite 82. The piece created during the demonstration will be raffled off afterward.

Built to allow ribbons to be tied to it,  the stainless steel sculpture further represents the strength of the patients and their families. It features hand made copper butterflies that symbolize love, peace and positive energy. Commissioned as a celebration of our grandfather Adam Gottler, this sculpture is from our Lifetree series. There’s a huge, rubber-clad grip for your right hand and a large nub for your right thumb to rest against, so it’s not hard to get a good firm grip on the camera. When you do, you’ll find the majority of the physical controls easily to hand, including the all-important video stop/start button and dedicated controls for high frame-rate, autofocus and auto-aperture adjustment. I don't think anyone has gotten far enough in reverse engineering to talk fully native RF, and if they made an RF mount camera that couldn't talk to most RF lenses people would be angry.
